We know it's a bit out of the ordinary, but we've decided that this blog would be a better way to keep friends and family up to date on what's been going on in our lives, rather than Myspace and Facebook.
After meeting on a summer night back in 2005, we quickly realized that we had WAY too much in common, starting with Billboards and ending with Convalescent Care Facilities. No one else seemed to exist when we were together.
A couple weeks later a call changed everything and honestly, it just sped up the inevitable. Off to Hermosa Beach for an adventure on our own and within the first four months of our first date (SAW II), a ring was placed on Jade's finger at the top of "This is the Place Monument" at sunset. (Ok, a little cheesy.. but that thing was burning a hole in my pocket!!)
Retiring and moving back to Salt Lake for all the right reasons along with Missi and Nesta, we found what we think is the perfect home in Holladay, thanks to John Ford.
This move also meant we both had to begin the search for new jobs. Jade found a home as Public Relations Director at the Salt Lake Board of Realtors producing the Salt Lake Board Magazine each month among other duties and Brian as a GRI Realtor with The Bringhurst Group. Not straying too far from the game, he's also the Color Analyst for Real Salt Lake.
His true love besides his wife is Bumpy Pitch, the clothing brand he Co-Founded with his college teammate, Ben Hooper. A lifestyle apparel brand with it's roots in Soccer, Bumpy Pitch can be found across the United States in shops like Lisa Kline and Lemonrags in LA, Chaud Jeans in Detroit, MetroBoom in Denver and Len Druskin in Minneapolis. With the Spring Line about to hit stores as well as relationships with international superstars and clubs, 2008 will be something to look forward to on the business side of things.
