We found the owner!!

Thanks to a call from Sandy City, we were able to get "Roxy" (which is interesting in itself since my family dog growing up was named Roxy) back to her owner, Don. Breaking down into tears over the phone at the news that she was safe, Don wanted to figure out a way to get his little girl back.

Unfortunately has Lou Gehrig's disease and needs the help of a walker to get around. After moving his truck to the front yard, Don needed to go back and lock the gate. Roxy usually stays right by his side, but this time she wandered off and got herself lost. Needless to say, Don didn't get much sleep last night.

Although Nesta loved having someone to play with, she was just a little territorial last night. Nesta took it upon herself to "teach" Roxy the ins and outs of the Dunseth household. While Nesta slept in her crate, Roxy slept on the Jade's side of the bed, beneath a blanket with her head on a pillow.

Don seemed to be a great guy and as soon as Roxy saw him, she started "talking" to him. Pretty emotional to watch. Don said that he got his Christmas present a couple of days early.
