On a very cold Monday afternoon, I headed down to the future home of the new Real Salt Lake stadium down off State St and 9200 South to watch the "Topping Off" ceremony. After grabbing a few corn muffins (my announcing meal during RSL matches), I carefully made my way over to the last steel beam, avoiding getting any mud on my new Rod Laver's.

While everyone there was invited to put their "John Hancock" on the beam, Eric Salsbery and myself grabbed a marker with Santa and his reindeer watching/peeing. Not that my future children will ever be able to see it, it was still a pretty cool thing to be a part of and see.
